Baker Creek By Basecamp

“We loved Baker Creek by Basecamp! The cabins are the very picture of warmth and comfort in winter and they did not disappoint! We struggled with the woodstove but the helpful staff, especially the manager, got one started for us before we returned from Lake Louise and the entire cabin was toasty when we stepped in. The grounds are lovely too with the creek nearby and firepits surrounded by cheerful red airondack chairs. We will return and spend more time on the grounds.”

“My wife & I checked into our room quite late but I found the young lady at the front desk to be very friendly and helpful. They provided us with some very tasty coffee and clear directions to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable. The place has an excellent ambiance with lots of things to do. Excellent experience!”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Baker Creek! The cabin is so close to nature, which made it really relaxing and peaceful. The interior of the cabin is awesome with complete kitchenette. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Javiera at the front desk was amazing—she gave us great tips on how to make the most of our stay. And Leonor, the manager, was so kind to offer us an upgrade when there was a small issue with our original cabin. We’ll definitely be back and will be recommending this place to our friends and family!”

“What a fantastic and beautiful spot. We stayed in early March so still lots of snow around and it was so picturesque away from any hustle and bustle. Very welcoming team, the loft cabin that we had was perfect. The cabin was very well stocked, warm and cozy, very comfortable beds and quiet. Our walk down by the creek was so beautiful and peaceful. We loved our stay and wish we could have changed our itinerary to stay 2 or more nights. Highly recommend and hopefully we can make it back one day!”

“My fiancé and I stayed in the superior one bedroom suite. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Highlights included a kitchen equipped with all amenities, fireplace, campfires with free firewood and an outdoor ice rink. Being a 15 min drive to Lake Louise ski hill, I’d highly recommend for any winter stays!”

“Fantastic stay!! Would definitely stay again. It felt wonderful to be away from the city. They upgraded us to a loft suite, which our son loved, as it was his birthday. Friendly staff, friendly guests, wonderful fires to sit around and blissfully quiet. Some dust in the corners, but generally in great condition for us”
